On Tuesday, April 20, Southport’s softball team beat their rivals, the Perry Meridian Falcons . The score of the game was 2-0. Senior Nikki Thomas led the team by pitching a perfect game with fifteen strikeouts. “A big accomplishment for Nikki on her Perfect Game,” said head coach Melissa Franzosi. Freshman Grace Clark hit all three times that she was up to bat. Junior Stephanie Winter was two for three. Juniors Shelby Turner and Jennifer Virden each had a double and an RBI.
