SB: Lady Cards beat Brownsburg

On Tuesday, March 23, Southport’s softball team beat Brownsburg with a score of 11-1

Senior Nikki Thomas, who pitched for six innings, had fifteen strkie-outs and no earned runs. Senior Kaitlyn Dreibelbis led the team in batting, getting hits three of the four times she was at bat and had three runs batted in. In the fourth inning, junior Jennifer Virden helped the team with a double and a run batted in.

“I’m pleased with our overall performance and look for us to be solid offensively,” said coach Melissa Fanzosi.
