The Southport girls swimming and diving team lost to Perry Meridian in a dual meet on Thursday, January 14th.
The final score was Southport 55, Perry Meridian 128.
The loss comes after a let-down performance at the Perry Meridian Invitational, a meet at which the Perry Meridian Falcons edged out Southport.
Still, Southport’s coaches consider these meets unimportant in the grand scheme of the season, and look ahead to the Sectional meet with high hopes.
