The Southport High School girls’ softball team lost a hard fought game against Brownsburg 4-5.
“We had the team beat if it were not for missed signs and errors” wrote coach Melissa Franzosi in an email.
Shelby turner kept the team alive by hitting a two run double in the fourth inning to out the Cards ahead 3-2.
Stand out players were junior Kaitlyn Dreibelbis (P), sophomore Shelby Turner (3rd) and freshman Stephanie Winter (SS). The Cards next game is at home against Cathedral on March 26.
