The Southport girls’ swim team lost a meet to Whiteland 121-62 on December 9. The girls’ were led by good performances by seniors Anna Timmons, and Kim Pack, they were also led by junior Amber Jeffries, and sophomores Katy White and Lizzy Dart.
“We approached Whiteland trying to find our identity. We
have been so swamped with injuries and sickness that many people had to
pick up new events,” said coach John Kirtland, “overall, we found some new life in our team and are
now focused on what we need to do with the rest of our year.”
The girls’ record is now 1-3 and their next meet is at home against Cathedral on December 16 at 5:00p.m.
